Happy Valentines ❤️

I decided to do some fun makeup looks for Valentines Day. Click to see the looks I tried and to hear the Sorbet Sundays Valentines playlist I created for your listening pleasure.

So I decided to get a little “arty” to deliver you today’s Valentines vibes.  I have some quirky Valentines makeup looks and a little Valentines playlist.  It has some of my fave tunes to bring fun, sexy feels into your life, to help you celebrate Valentines Day the right way.

What inspired the fun?  Truthfully I had some heart confetti, and while I was making my Valentines Make up Ideas post, I thought it would be fun to do something that I’ve never done before.

Check out how I used these hearts to do some fun makeup looks for Valentines Day. I also made a Sorbet Sundays Valentines playlist so head over to hear some of my favourite tunes inspired by love.

I wondered if it would be possible to get away with putting the hearts on my face in a beauty look and wear it out somewhere.  Probably not to work (well not my work anyway), but I thought what about an after hours event or at the weekend?  When I (or you) would be free as a bird.

I’ve seen a few make up Makeup Artists and enthusiasts post pictures on Instagram where they have drawn hearts near the eyes, so I thought that was a good place to start.  I jumped in with three hearts, and set about giving my best nonchalent vibes.  I’d describe it as the  “Yeah I’ve got 3 hearts on my face… I’m not worried, I can rock any look” feel.

That was fun and I loved it, but then I realised it was time to really try and make it more accessible for the real world.  So I toned it down to one heart.  It totally changed my vibe. I felt all sweetness and light when I switched to this.

After that I decided to really ramp it up and go OTT.  I don’t expect to wear this look anywhere but I really enjoyed getting experimental!

It was definitely different working with some physical elements on my face that I wasn’t used to.  It took a little getting used to, especially on the lips, but I’d definitely do something more experimental again.

So what do you think?  Which is your favourite look of the three and would you try any on yourself.  Let me know in the comments.

Here as promised, is the mini Valentines playlist for you all from the Sorbet Sundays YouTube channel.  If you have a YouTube Channel please subscribe.  There will be more coming from there in the future 🙂
